Meet Our Team

Dr. Shannon Hurvitz

Principal Podiatrist

Shannon is an accomplished podiatrist with over a decade of experience in private practice, specialising in biomechanics, sports medicine, paediatric podiatry, and minimally invasive surgery. He holds a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a Master’s in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Sydney. His expertise includes human locomotion, injection therapy, and dry needling, allowing him to provide comprehensive, patient-tailored care.

As the owner of his own podiatry business, Shannon prioritises patient-centred care, using the latest techniques and evidence-based practices for effective outcomes. His passion for improving mobility and reducing pain drives his commitment to helping individuals of all ages achieve optimal foot health. Whether treating athletes, children, or patients with chronic conditions, Shannon is known for his compassionate approach and dedication to enhancing quality of life.

Outside of work, Shannon is a sports enthusiast, actively following rugby league and English football, reflecting his love for teamwork and competition.

Dr. Amanda

Amanda graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatric Medicine and has had experience in private practice as well as in the public sector, covering all aspects of podiatry, for over a decade.

Amanda is a kind, gentle and caring Podiatrist, always willing to go the extra mile to achieve positive outcomes for her patients. She enjoys working on a range of cases including nail problems, Diabetic foot care, biomechanics and soft tissue injuries, with a range of patients – young and old. Amanda regularly attends conferences and workshops to ensure she is up to date with management and treatment modalities in our field.

In her personal time, Amanda enjoys hiking, going to the gym, indoor rock-climbing, reading and travelling. She has an interest in a variety of sports and likes spending time with friends and family – although family time can very easily turn to case studies as her brother is a Podiatrist too!

Dr. Russell Stokes

Russell has a special interest in Running, Sports and Biomechanics and knowledge gained from 30 years of competitive middle and long distance running at State and National level. As a junior athlete Russell was first introduced to Podiatry and its benefits in treating and minimising injuries. Russell was U20 NSW Cross Country Champion and a silver medalist at the U20 Australian Athletics Championships. In the last 30 years Russell has competed regularly at State level in Athletics, Cross Country and Road Championships.
